What is a Widget?

A Widget is a mini-application that lets you perform common tasks while providing you with fast access to information. With a single click, Dashboard appears, complete with Widgets that bring you a world of information -- real-time weather, stock tickers, time tracking, flight information and more. Dashboard disappears just as easily, so you can return to what you were doing.

Widgets are designed for the MAC OS 10.4.10+ operating systems while Gadgets are designed for MicroSoft Widows Vista technology. The SHOCKOE™ Widget will only support MAC OS technology however, SHOCKOE™ will release a new version by the fall of 2008.
